Las 12 Horas de Sebring de 1956 se llevan a cabo en el Sebring International Raceway ubicado en Florida. Se compone de dos líneas rectas largas, separadas por curvas rápidas y unos deflectores. La ruta actual difiere de la de la época. Esta pista tiene un gran pasado histórico ya que se ha utilizado para el automovilismo desde 1950. Este circuito es famoso porque fue sede de la Fórmula 1 .
