Lista de municipios de Kansas

El estado estadounidense de Kansas tiene 626  municipios .

Creación y estado

Todos los municipios de Kansas se denominan "  ciudad  ". Para crear un municipio, una ley de 1963 impone una población mínima de 250 habitantes o la existencia de 250 parcelas atendidas por una red de saneamiento administrada por una empresa sin fines de lucro. Sin embargo, estos umbrales no se aplican a los monumentos históricos nacionales .

Los municipios se dividen en tres clases, según su población:

Las excepciones permiten a los municipios a 2 e  clase mantienen su estado hasta 25 000, los de 3 ª  clase hasta 5 000. A diferencia de los otros, los municipios de 3 E  clase están en un municipio .
